Explaining New Testament way of Giving an Offering

 Exodus 35:5 Bisaya

Exodus 35:5 KJV English

5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

- This verse is in the Old Testament showing how the Old Testament Believers should bring an offering unto their God.

- Despite being commanded to bring Tithes into God's storehouse and offerings, God made a second the motion to make it heartily and with all willingness as it must be.

- These then are repeated in the New Testament or what we normally called New Covenant. And this can be read in

 2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV

"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give ; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."

- Giving of Tithes and offering must be done still. Only that, God made a second the motion again, to give it with all our heart and having joy as we faithfully done these things.

Mathew 23:23 and Hebrew 7:8

Luke 6:38

- So, Giving does not change in the New Testament.
