What faith that saves a believer?

Is it his faith in Christ or the faith of Christ?

A true believer knows how he is being saved unless you are a reprobate. 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? A reprobate will answer differently from what is directly stated and written in the scriptures. Apostle Paul, our Apostle to the Gentiles directly states what faith really saves the true believer. He wrote to Timothy ,

2 Timothy 3:15 KJV

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

He said "salvation through faith which in Christ Jesus. It is the faith in Christ that saves . Apostle Paul answered to the Gentile Phillippian Jailor when he asked Acts 16:30-31 KJV

And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? [31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

It is our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that saves us.

It is repeatedly in the writings of Apostle the phrase "believe in Christ" "believe in/on him"

Example

We recieve the righteousness of God through believing in Christ which is our faith

Romans 4:5 KJV

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Take note "believeth on him" and "his faith" is counted for righteousness

The "through faith" in Eph. 2:8 and Gal. 3:14 have been explained by Paul as "believe in him"

Ephesians 1:13-15 KJV

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, [14] Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. [15] Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

It is "your faith in the Lord"

Galatians 3:24-26 KJV

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. [25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. [26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

It is by faith in Christ Jesus.

Even Apostle Peter agrees with Apostle as he wrote to tge believing Jews that they are saved through faith and tgat faith is your faith in Christ Jesus

1 Peter 1:5,9 KJV

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. [9] Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

This also confirms to what Jesus said Luke 7:50 KJV

And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

The faith of Christ that saves is a new strange doctrine . 

Justification by the faith of Christ is one of the benefits of salvation like the righteosness of God, the Holy Spirit, eternal life, redemption etc when we are saved by our faith in Christ Jesus.
